TRIM function :
Removes all leading and trailing spaces. If there is multiple spaces within the internal string , it reduces it by a single space .
CLEAN function :
Usually ,while importing the data into an Excel worksheet it contain strange and ofter unprintable characters, sor that use CLEAN function.
Example of TRIM function:
=TRIM(" Prepare the Report of Second Quarter .")
Result: Prepare the Report of Second Quarter .
